Festival of Reading, Volunteers Needed!

Turn the Page KC, a literacy nonprofit, is hosting an event Saturday at the KC Urban Youth Academy from 2-5pm and they're needing some volunteers!

Here are the deets:

Responsibilities: handing out tickets at the gate, popsicle distribution, helping folks pick out books to keep, monitoring the obstacle course, and take down if anyone would like to stay a little after 5

Volunteer between December 5th and 10th for the Christmas Store! Opportunities range from sorting, carrying, and preparing the Store, to helping families shop for items.
