Vibrant Voices Event
Vibrant Voices is a fundraiser hosted by Vibrant Health and the mission of Vibrant Health is to provide access to respectful, empowering, culturally sensitive and appropriate high-quality health care for the community, regardless of socio-economic obstacles.
Vibrant Voices Volunteer Opportunities
Join us as a volunteer! When you give time, you help support the event and Vibrant Health patients. All volunteers will receive a t-shirt and a general admission ticket to the event. Volunteers who sign up for back-to-back shifts (one starting at 4:00 PM and one ending at 8:30 PM) will receive a box meal.
Please note volunteers should be prepared to stand, walk, and help direct people inside Memorial Hall. Volunteers will also help register and check-in people using a tablet and software platform (training provided).
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.

“Jackson County CASA was founded by the Kansas City chapter of the National Council of Jewish Women to ensure that children in our metropolitan area who have suffered abuse and neglect are given a voice in Court. We have two goals: (1) to secure a safe, permanent home for the child; and, (2) to advocate for appropriate medical, educational, and therapeutic resources while the child is under Court jurisdiction.”
Volunteers are needed to help run various stations - craft, hair, photo booth, etc.

Care Beyond the Boulevard runs a bar at Boulevardia! It’s a beer festival with bands, food etc. we will be slinging drinks and need volunteers.
All the tips our bar receives goes directly to Care Beyond the Boulevard (we are the Na bar this year, so bring your best tip asking costume) It’s actually a lot of fun!
It’s hot and sweaty and you get to hang with cool volunteers. It’s all credit card receipts so easy to do!!

Join River of Refuge as we raise money for our Transitional Housing Program. The event is family-friendly and pets are welcome too. The evening begins with a BBQ dinner presented by Operation BBQ Relief complete with adult beverages, soda's, juice boxes, and dessert. We'll have a raffle and a live auction with many interesting items. To cap off the evening, we'll show "Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory" at dusk and serve popcorn and movie treats.

5th Annual Pee Wee's 5K Walk
In honor of Homicide and Crime Victim’s Rights Week, KC Mothers in Charge hosts Pee Wee’s Walk. The course passes through the location of Pee Wee’s homicide, whose death prompted the forming of KC Mothers in Charge. Join and help raise awareness of anti-violence efforts in KC.
Walk begins at the Spirit of Freedom Fountain on the corner of Emmanuel Cleaver Blvd and Cleveland Ave
Volunteer at Bubble Ball for Wishes Sake
Bubble Ball for Wishes Sake is returning this year to bring awareness to the extraordinary power of hope and healing that a wish come true can deliver for children battling critical illnesses.
We are in need of your help to assist at the event with registration, live auction, check-out, photography, and more!
This signature event will be held at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium (home of the Kansas City Chiefs) on March 31st, from 4:30 PM-10:30 PM.
The event will begin with hors d’oeuvres and cocktails before featuring a one-of-a-kind fashion show, designed by local artists and companies using bubble wrap! Pieces are inspired by local Kansas City wish kids’ favorite things. This exclusive event will also feature an interactive program with music, voting on bubble wrap art, silent and live auctions, food and much more – all to raise vital funds for wishes granted by Make-A-Wish Missouri & Kansas.
If you are interested in volunteering, please complete this form no later than Tuesday, February 28th. Please feel free to share this form with friends and family members who would like to volunteer.
For those who sign up to volunteer, volunteer responsibilities will be assigned in early March. An informational call to prepare volunteers for the event will occur 1 week before the event to provide further instructions and answer questions.

Make-A-Wish Missouri & Kansas is looking for individuals in the community who love kids, are creative, thoughtful, and excellent listeners. If you fit this mold, then you are the perfect person to make wishes come true through our wish granter volunteer opportunity!
A wish granter is a Make-A-Wish volunteer who works with wish children to discover, plan and fulfill a wish. Wish granters work in teams of two; use resources wisely by seeking donated goods and services; and make each wish a unique, magical and memorable experience for the child. Our wish granters understand these wishes-come-true are powerful, life-changing events that strengthen families and bring communities together.
