“Farm Fest at Common Ground is a free community event held on-farm at KC Farm School’s 14-acre urban farm in KCK. Farm Fest unites our wonderful Kansas City community by offering opportunities to learn about local food, resources, our environment and ways to mobilize for community action.
The event will feature local entertainers, free food created by Chef Erin Bassett, free fun and games, community resources, a community mural build, a farmers market and vendor area, farm tours, agriculture and environment demonstrations, and so much more.
In 2021, we hosted Farm Fest for the first time and over 400 KC neighbors showed up. You’re invited this year and we hope you join us.”
